Hey, think monday will be the first training with the newcomers right? i understand that you seniors need to train as much as well to prepare for the upcoming competition. But then again on second thoughts.. i think we shouldn't neglect the J1s, hope you all can as much as you to help them cultivate their interest in football. I think that is their purpose in joining the CCA in the first place..and yours also. Hopefully when I drop by again, NY gers football is still as strong and passionate as before. hey girls, today is probably my last day trg with yall for soccer, just as coach's last day is today. i'm not saying i'm quitting, but the trg days really clash with my art lessons and i can't not go for art lessons because they are school lessons. i really hate to stop trg for soccer just when the cca has gotten officially recognised, and considering the fact that i put in one year of effort in it and has improved a little now, i really hate to stop trg to improve even more. hahah, i do admit i'm the lousiest player in the whole team. i can't kick well, and my stamina and strength are really way below all of your standards, but hey, my passion for soccer is the same as yours!! i will never stop loving soccer because it is soccer that gives me strength to carry on and relieves me from stress. it is also through soccer i get to know all of you. i may seem to be inactive in soccer, but really, it is not that i don't like soccer.. i just hope that when tournament comes, i will still be able to sit on the bench with yall cheering for NY soccerettes. DO COUNT ME IN FOR SOCCER GATHERINGS YAR, COS I STILL WANT TO BOND WITH YOU PEOPLE YA KNOW!!! but who knows, if i have the time, i will come down to see yall train. heh.

Yo, It was a fair game today, still alot of work to be done if we want to go pass the group stage next year. I honestly feel that the scoreline dun justify our efforts today. The odds are against us..they played on that shit pitch week in week out, we have no substitutes(kudos to everyone who ran their hearts out): but lets not try to find excuses for our defeat, instead let us all concentrate on how to improve ourselves, technically, physically and mentally.

I also understand it is mentally draining to lose every match we played in..who in the world likes to lose..I am sure you wan to win right?I wan to win with you all. Lets train hard together to get past the group stage and advance to the knockout stage next inter JC competition. But i must remind you all, to reach that goal it will not be easy. training will be lot tougher then you can imagaine, you need to pass your promos to get your parents approval to come down for regular training, and expect me to be stricter on you gers. Can you take it? Do you love to train hard and push yourselves? or you rather we come to training and hee hee ha ha play 2 sides and go back. I hope its the former, because i look forward to seeing you all play in jalan besar stadium with the whole school cheering in the stands...when in your life do you have the opportunity to experience that? Its time to start believing in yourselves. We have already given so much of our time and effort in soccer, don't you think its a waste to slow down now??we should hasten our pace and run to our goal as a team. Its never the end till we reach the finishing line. Remember Quitters never win, Winners never quits.

Hey all, okay this is Emiko using Jinyu's account (thank you!)

I checked the whole package and i realized at the bottom that if we order the $120 set we won't be getting charcoal, tongs, wire mesh etc etc..but paying $40 extra just to get that isn't exactly worth it.

some of the seniors eat a lot, especially big meat eaters so they're going to bring their own food to cook there (of course we can all share) and this is our menu, the stuff that we're going to buy and cook.

MAIN COURSE : 1) Steak (black pepper)
2) Dory Fillet (lemon butter & black pepper)
3) Sambal Sotong
SIDES: 4) Chicken wings (the ones that come in packets of 20-30)
5) Satay
6) Aparagus
7) Mushrooms (different types)
8)Baked potatoes
9) Baby corn
DESSERTS: 10) Marshmallows
11) Candy/ Fruit

We're going to make it cost efficient by buying from the wet markets and stuff so that it wont cost too much. Do you girls still want to buy the $120 package too or do you just want to add a few more items to the list and then we all just split the costs? Because yeah some of the J2s eat a lot so the package isn't enough for them, and the a la carte is a little costly too. Okay, so we need opinions :) ah and because you girls organized it, we'll leave the choice of inviting ms. audrey or not to you, though its probably nice to ask her along too since she's done a lot for all of us.

Ps: whether or not we go along with the menu above, we need the wire mesh and stuff right? anyone getting it? Sam has tongs. Oh yes, and what about drinks? :) can coach fay bring his icebox?

So people, are you just going to sit there and be angry about that bloody post or ae you going to work hard on your ball control to prepare yourself for the SA match?the choice is yours, you make the choice.

I know all of you have the rights to be angry and be furious about it. you'll probably hate that person and feel very accused just like how i did when i found out about it. but what can we do right? what's not supposed to be done is done alrdy, so all we should just do now is to ignore it and go on with life ok?

i reckoned that there will much commotion due to this post but still, i feel that there is a need to address this matter.

we can't blame the others for looking down on our team since our very own senior is doing so.

sometimes, people just do not know how much their words weigh. we can ignore criticisms, we can be apathetic from all the negative comments, but we simply can't disregard curt words from members in the same club as us, our fellow senior.

i'm not going to mention names here, but i guess it will be pretty obvious as to who this post is directing to. do note that the following that i'm blogging about is solely regarding my personal opinios, no influence or fusion from anyone else.

how does it feel to be ACCUSED? and how much do you actually understand? never mind about the encouragements that we needed, but don't ever point your fingers at anyone else and babble things which you aren't sure and don't know of. that's plainly unethical. i can excuse the rest for not understanding us well enough, but what about you, our very own senior? many of the members from this J1 team only started playing soccer this year- March. as in, previously, we've never played or weren't trained before. unlike the seniors, we were only given an ultra short period of 1 month plus before the commencement of the tournament season. in which comparatively, the seniors had the priviledge of another additonal 3 months to train and bond together before they have to face such tumultuous pressure last year. one month plus is all we've got, i re-emphasize; 1 MONTH PLUS. yes, this is not a very good excuse, i didn't even intend to use it as an excuse for our performance against VJC's match. but think hard, how well can we fare against people who have at least played soccer for a year or more and with tsunamis of experience? and to think that all our efforts paid off with words like 'humilation' and 'big ass'. have you ever put into considerations of our fear, our uncertainties, our pressure? try placing yourself in our shoes and walk a few miles with it. 95 or 100% of us are pure first timers, and it takes a lot of courage to agree in wanting to go for the FAS matches. you may argue that in this case, we shouldn't have nodded our heads since we're so unsure and lacking in confidence. it's just how we hope to play well and eventually make soccer an official cca in nyjc. we didn't want to win for the sake of celebrity, instead for acknowledgement.

i may not have the right to say much since i'm not playing. however, the efforts from all the team members should not be rejected and over-looked. yes, we're not performing well, but we're trying. we're trying hard to, please be aware that we are. the many times when the specific memebers weren't feeling well and turned up for trainings, the many times when the players injured themselves and yet present for the trainings, the many times they organised street soccer sessions to seek improvements, and many more. has the blind obessesion to win and the temptation of fame and recognition eclipsed all these effort? has just that one and first game disparaged our team, that 8-nil?

truthfully speaking, my guy and parents have vehement objections of me joining soccer. and being labeled as an 'intention seeker', classified and analysized as 'probably joined to help their self-advertising efforts', 'something to talk to guys about' and 'They want to win because it's glam and nice and wouldn't it be cool to be a chick who can win FAS matches', it's all pure unvalid accusations that i'm exposed to. honestly, who wouldn't want to win? and if wanting to win is equivalent to wanting to advertise ourselves, that you're VERY WRONG. and doesn't that mean that you yourself have the same mentality? there seriously isn't a need to degrade, condemn and affirm our personalities with all these self-proclaim incriminations. so what right do you have, and based on what standing facts do you have? we talk about evidences in this society, no hard copy of any, then don't go about blabbering untrue things about us. it's so senseless, baseless and unfair towards us. we don't need anyone to talk about us behind our backs, if you have the courage and if you're really concerned about the future of women soccer in nyjc, i guess we'd all rather and would appreciate it if you could come direct and tell us straight at our faces (as for this post, i resort to blogging it out since you chose to blog it out- reciprocating and following the rule of the game). our techniques and standard are currently very limited and restricted since we're only given this one month plus, not forgetting that we have to juggle with our academics as well as our other official cca. and so because we doesn't live up to your expectations, we are deemed as having disgraced and humilated you. if you're really bend on and desperate to be in a winning team, do go look for others.

i may be stark with my words, but understand, that it doesn't feel good to be accussed and thrown at with such words.

and we don't owe you any apologies, that's what i personally feel.

THE MAN WHO HAS BEEN BEHIND US ALL THIS WHILE.

we are a crazy bunch of girls. yet he tolerates us. he's ever so patient. he really cares. who's this amazing man? who is this man who treats us all like his own children?

there he is. the ever youthful and sometimes childish man. i sense it now.

you're everything i know that makes me believe. that we're not alone.

we were clueless about kicking a damn ball. he was the one who encouraged us. who brought us thus far.

when i catch my breath, it's you i breathe.

we never got a chance to thank coach, or do something nice for him. it doesnt take a gift or lunch to express our gratitute, just fighting hard in the match will do. shall we prove to those who doubt us that we can do it? shall we fight till the end, and thank coach for all he has bestowed upon us.

we all know how tough it is for you. when we have problems, we turn to you but when u have problems u choose to keep it inside you and most prob turn to ur pillow. we all know how stressed you are and how worried you are about us, we can tell.

so we will continue to fight hard, we're not quitters. we're made of magic, we'll fight for every ball. not only for you, but also for ourselves. we WANT to win, we WANT to make you proud of us, we want you to be able to walk with your head held high whenever people asks about your team. we'll not let you down.

MATCH 2 against rjc.
not too bad. i missed two opportunities, again. OMGH!!! *beep* i cant pass. i learn from coach kel and coach charlie alr, but still my passing why liddat. and i must learn to pass nicely. bOoHOo. was kinda sad right after the match cos i missed opportunities of scoring. haish i only manage to dribble abit better, i was SO happy when i got to near the goal when i was dribbling but walau i cant pass. sai ah!!! train man train. coach fei is gonna train me!! YES!!! jiahui sprained her ankle, and was sent out at 2nd half, i was quite down when she was gone. another player gone, after cheryl. please take care girls, the team needs you, I NEED YOU!!! we could have drawn or won. that goal was definately horrible. but i find that its less agressive than the match against vjc. which wasnt really doing us much of good, esp 2nd half. dear girls, AGRESSIVENESS. i cant teach you to be agressive, it all comes within you, the power to win. you all must have it. ONE NIL isnt good, thou its better than EIGHT NIL but come on girls we really good have won. after thots of wad justina said, and i put the match in my mind, i think we really lack this agressiveness of wanting the ball. but i can see that the defenders really improved. love it. you guys fight for the ball, trying to clear it. and bend your knees, be on your toes, be on your guard to move about rotate blah blah, to get the ball. keli you tired hard i can tell. good. shuen lin too, all the defenders really its a better defend than the previous match. continue to work hard. friendly with nyjc, we won 2-0. but it wasn't a fair match in the first place. =\the entire saturday was a total waste of time, except maybe for team bonding! hahaha! i had fun, but i wish it was more productive. firstly, it rained and there was lightning. so we only played 25mins (which is half of our actual match and a third of what we wanted to do during the friendly). darn~ why does the weather always work against us! secondly, nyjc didn't play their experienced players or j2s which was really sad coz we needed this friendly to prepare us for the actual tournament.in the end, we travelled all the way to serangoon for nothing...other than the fact that nyjc girl's team is probably the most friendly and nice people ever. i remember that last year, they were very very nice too! =D hahahahah so we took crazy photos together as if we know each other very well or sth...then i said "SEE U AT THE FINALS!" HAHAHAHAaaa...! well...if that could happen, it will be the best thing ever!so anyway, our first match is on saturday....=D YAY! let's go girls!!!
